Jewellery History
Originally created in the 1960s, the Philippine ring was designed to be worn during the day. Inlaid with panels of various hard stones and centred on 3 rows of round diamonds surrounded by textured gold, it comes in a range of deep, vibrant colours, conveying the joyful, positive world of the Maison.
In 1954, Van Cleef & Arpels came up with the ingenious concept of "La Boutique", a jewellery line aimed at a younger clientele who wanted jewellery of the highest quality to wear during the day. The Philippine is part of the collection created for this occasion and is an incredibly chic icon for everyday wear.
