Jewellery History
Since 1920, Van Cleef & Arpels has used these elegant and mysterious gold pearls to highlight a stone or motif. A delicate contour of pearled gold adds substance to a creation, magnifying it and generously varying its dimensions. Since the 1960s, these cheerful gold pearls have been part of the Alhambra Collection, surrounding the four-leaf clover motifs with a distinctive contour of gold pearls. Inspired by this history, the Perlée Collection has become a collection in its own right, and can be found in a variety of jewellery and watch designs.
