Jean Dinh Van is passionate about shapes and materials, and pays tribute to an age-old symbol with the Chinese Pi collection: the Pi discs of Chinese art are cut from jade and symbolise the sky, infinity and well-being. The collection was created in the mid-1980s with the discs, then revisited in pure 24-carat gold in the early 1990s, and finally extended to other models, like this ring with the same inspiration.
