Jewellery History
In 1917, Louis Cartier created the Cartier Tank watch, which became a legend in the watchmaking world. In the 1940s, collections of "tank jewellery" were created, including the famous tank ring with its retro style. Over the decades, Cartier has created Tank rings, the most recent of which have a refined design. Cordierite, peridot, citrine, pink tourmaline for the stone, yellow, white or pink gold for the setting: so many variations, yet recognisable at first glance by the square/rectangular shape.
