When you sell luxury jewellery, you want it to be sold at the best price, showcased with beautiful photos, cleaned and pampered, so that you can find a buyer with the minimum of fuss. And you don't want your jewellery to fall into the wrong hands. That's why we take care of everything and have set up a secure process.
At what cost?
We have defined a price scale that corresponds to a fair price for the seller, and to the market price for the buyer. This price is based on the condition of the product, the year of purchase, but also on the sales history of similar products and the attractiveness of the make and model.
- In the sales questionnaire, you tell us your desired price.
- We will confirm the sale price, or offer you a price in line with the market if necessary. You are free to accept it or not.
- If the price you want is too high, we can refuse to put it online.
Price transparency: We apply a scale of selling costs ranging from 18 to 35% of the product price, depending on the price range. On average, our commission is 22%, which is significantly lower than that charged by other players on the market. We can do this because we only sell between private individuals, which reduces the number of intermediaries.
Scale of selling expenses
The seller's costs correspond to the costs and time spent putting the item online, taking the photographs, negotiating with the buyer, collecting the money, checking with our expert, valuing, cleaning and shipping your jewellery.

From 200 to 600 euros: 35%
From 600 to 1200 euros: 28%
From 1,200 to 3,000 euros: 24%
From 3,000 to 5,000 euros: 22%

What type of jewellery can I sell on weprecious?
Our site specialises in the sale of pre-owned luxury jewellery. We only offer and sell signed jewellery major jewellery brands such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Chaumet, Buccellati, Piaget, Dinh Van, Chanel, Messika, Queelin, Mauboussin... as well as more confidential brands from fine jewellery designers.
We do not sell costume jewellery, only precious metal jewellery with or without stones, and only second-hand jewellery.
Your jewellery can be sold with or without the original boxes and certificates issued by the brand. However, you should be aware that a signed pre-owned jewellery sells better with boxes and certificates. In all cases, we issue a certificate of authenticity and supply new boxes if necessary.
We sell second-hand signed jewellery in excellent condition, so in some cases we offer to refurbish your jewellery before the shoot to enhance its sale price. In all cases, the jewel (and its original packaging if applicable) will undergo meticulous cleaning and packaging before shipping, so it's not a big deal if your jewel is a little tarnished by time and storage. We'll restore it to its former glory.

You can send us photos of your jewellery (5 photos from all angles by following our a guide to photographing jewellery) and, if available, the boxes and certificates of origin.
Would you like our team to take care of everything? Send us a message with the brand name and a description of the model so that we can place it on deposit.
From there, we'll take you through the rest of the online process.
If you wish to direct deposit without shipmentIf you would like us to send you the photos you need for an appraisal, then we will ask you to upload them so that we can show off your jewellery to its best advantage.
Selling in 4 steps:
1 – Send us a message or fill in the form, and give us information about the jewellery you wish to sell. We can also be reached by email or by Whatsapp.
2- We will confirm acceptance of your jewel within 48 hours. or tell you what additional information we need. We contact you to get to know you and make the necessary checks. If your jewel meets our selection criteria, we quickly put it on line. When the jewel is sold, we organise its shipment by insured transport. Before each sale, we will ask you for an identity document, and we will exchange information so that the provenance of the jewellery is as secure as possible.
3- If you opt for deposit, we will organise theremoval and shooting professional (by appointment or secure shipment depending on your location and requirements). The jewellery will be taken care of by our teams and stored in our secure vaults. 4. You are paid 14 days after delivery to the customer, by transfer to your bank account.
