The Mauboussin House was founded in 1827 by Monsieur Rocher, an artisan jeweller with a passion for creating jewellery, but is still known as Maison Noury.
It was not until 1880 that Georges Mauboussin, nephew of the Noury family, joined the company and gave it its current name. This period marked the beginning of the rise of Mauboussin as a fine jewellery house renowned for its innovation and craftsmanship.
