Dior Rose: History and symbol of an eternal flower

The rose, Christian Dior's favourite flower, inspired this collection. The petals, stems and thorns of the rose inspired the designer to create the " flower-women "full of grace, its subtle colour evokes " the softest of colours (...) the colour of happiness and femininity. "
Like a tribute to nature itself, the stem is sublimated and reinvented by Victoire de Castellane. Punctuated with gold or diamond thorns, it becomes a symbol of attachment and establishes an intimate dialogue with the skin.
