The story of Chopard began in 1860 when Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded a watchmaking workshop in Switzerland.
In 1963, the Scheufele family, German jewellers, bought Chopard. The company underwent significant expansion, enabling Chopard to diversify and stand out in the jewellery sector.
